Mission It is in the spirit of contributing to open dialogue on African issues, as advocated by W.E.B. DuBois, that this journal has been established. Contributions to the journal are expected to be multidisciplinary. In addition, it is the aim of the Board and the Co-Editors that a high quality of contributions be maintained, that the contributions be global, and from a wide range of perspectives, including practical, theoretical and critical perspectives on Africa, Africans, and the African Diaspora. In the spirit of pan-Africanism, advocated by Kwame Nkrumah and others, distribution will be global. Our mission is peace, development, progress and hope for Africa, which is what our logo represents. Issues will be made available on-line, with a 6-month day from the date of publication, at the AfricanaJournal.org web-site. |
